My name is Zachariah Atteberry. I am here to present today.
Stand up.
Speak tall.
Communicate change.
What is the time difference? For some it is three seconds. For some, three days.
Still for some, three years. Speaking is not easy. Speaking up is sometimes met
with absoulte resistance. But speaking up is also important and a part of being a
respectable adult.
In my life, I’ve learned that speaking up with confidence is important. I’ve been
though a long road of trial and error to get to where I am now. Let me ask you one
question; whos foot is in your mouth when you want to speak? Who keeps you
from standing up and speaking the simple truth?
Possbility is we all have paid for low confidence. Either it was the words left unsaid
in the important meeting or the perfect idea that was stolen by your co worker.
Confidence is now everything. For every homeless person without money, for
every animal in the animal shelter waiting for a new home. Confidence is now the
one ticket to being reputable, the one thing that will help us succeed.
So how do we get confidence? How do we get up to where we can express our
confidence? Well it isn’t easy. In middle school I was always teashed, bullied,
